Electronic Arts Inc. (EA), also known as EA Games, is an American developer, marketer, publisher, and distributor of video games headquartered in Redwood City, California.

Founded and incorporated on May 28, 1982 by Trip Hawkins, the company was a pioneer of the early home computer games industry and was notable for promoting the designers and programmers responsible for its games. As of 2014, Electronic Arts was the world's fourth-largest gaming company by revenue after Tencent, Sony and Microsoft.


EA is a big company and they have a lot of products, for that they have a lot of servers where their customers can play online, download games, get information and much more. Since there is a lot of servers there is a real need to keep an eye on them ensuring that the quality of service is the expected by their customers.

To control that everything works they need to monitor all these servers, the monitoring process collect huge amount of information from all the key aspects of the servers and services. To understand all these data EA needs a method to see this data in some human understandable way. In other words, they need dashboards to understand what is going on.


As a team, each member working for EA plays an important role on daily delivery process.

We go through a meticulous process to ensure product quality starting on applying coding standards up to continuous integration strategy. Our main objective is to leverage decision process by providing tools such as real time dashboards and presenting information based on real time monitoring. We also set as another goal to identify potential scenarios where to automatize rutinary tasks in order to ease daily task and improve working experience for the final user.

We aim our efforts to build software applications under Agile methodology and building on reusable modular packages, this way individual components can be implemented for future developments as an inmediate result delivery time is reduced improving  quality. 

All our projects regarless of being backend or frontend applications are based on popular, well-documented and well-supported frameworks however we are always seeking new technolgies that may add value to the business and/or easy daily tasks. This way any roadblock our team reaches can be easily and quickly resolved preventing unexpected delays due to lack of support.

We benefit with the use of solid tools and technologies such as Jenkins, Redis, Git, Laravel, Angular, Vagrant, REST Apis to ensure software architecture. To speed up development process we base our efforts relying on consolidated and promising frameworks such as Angular2 and Laravel.
